what is a way to assure that acrylic doesnt harden on the nail brush?

Yes, that's easy to do. Always keep your brush clean while working with it. If you find acrylic is starting to build up, clean it using monomer and wipe it on a lint free brush wipe. After you are done, always use fresh, clean monomer to clean your brush with. Put it in the monomer, and wipe well on a brush wipe. Repeat this process until the brush is totally clean, usually that means dipping and wiping three or four times. Roll the tip of the brush into a point on a clean, unused brush wipe and store properly. If you find that acrylic hardens on the brush, obviously you didn't clean it well enough. In that case, never force the hardened acrylic off the brush in any way. This will usually ruin the brush hairs. Instead, simply leave the brush soaking in monomer for a few hours (only up close to the ferrule, but no further than that). Then, try to wipe the softened acrylic off of the brush. If some remains on the brush, soak a little longer, and try again. Avoid using acetone, alcohol, or anything other than monomer to clean your brush with.
For best results, always use a high quality Kolinsky sable brush. Anything else is a waste of both time, and money.

To remove acrylic nails, soak them in acetone for an hour. Never pull, bite, or peel acrylic off as this can cause damage to your natural nails.
